Inquisite Survey consists of four user roles. Each role contains specific user rights within the product. A role based-approach to working with the application provides the various users with only the functionality and information they need to do their jobs while allowing an organization to maintain security through data restrictions.
System Administrator
System Administrators are typically responsible for software installation and system configuration. They may also perform tasks such as account creation and system diagnostics. The System Administrator role is available for installed customers only.
Survey Administrator
Survey Administrators are the principal user of the application. They can build, deploy, and analyze surveys. To facilitate report generation, Survey Administrators have access to the Reporting Plug-in for Microsoft Office and all online reporting features. They can restrict data views within specific surveys so that licensed Analysts may only see a configured subset of data. Survey Administrators may also assume the role of a Reviewer.
Analyst
Analysts have access to the product's full reporting functionality, with the ability to view and generate reports for all surveys to which they have been granted access by a Survey Administrator. The System Administrator can further restrict data views within specific surveys to which Analysts have access. Analysts are not licensed to build or publish surveys. Analysts can install the Reporting Plug-in for Microsoft Office to generate custom reports and charts in Excel and PowerPoint or access online reports including Frequency Distribution, Cross Tabulation, Response Summary, Response Detail, and Survey Campaign Reports.
Reviewer
The Reviewer is a quality assurance role. Reviewers can preview and approve surveys, controlling the publishing of surveys across an organization. If the Reviewer role is enabled, deployed surveys must be approved before they can be activated, ensuring deployed surveys meet corporate branding and content standards. Reviewers are not licensed to build or publish surveys.
